5th Interhotel Football Tournament

Inter Hotel Tournament

Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas together with QSports is proud to host the Inter Hotel Football Tournament from February 18th – March 11th 2018. This is an annual sporting event played among the hotels in Doha.

 

The inaugural event was held in 2013, as a one day event and saw 8 teams in play. Grand Hyatt Doha emerged champions that year. Other champions include 2014 – Ritz Carlton, 2015 – Whyndham Grand Regency Doha and 2016 – Grand Hyatt Doha. As tradition goes, the defending champions host the next tournament.

 

2018 saw 18 teams, the highest since inception, competing for the top honours. With some exciting football player by over 250 players in 369 scheduled matches.

 

In addition to match victory, teams and players were contended for Best Unifom, Golden Boot (highest scorer), Golden Glove (goalkeeper with most umber of clean sheets/least goals conceded) and Goldan Ball (most valuable player) awards.
